The 18-hole Arcamanik public standard course will celebrate its 30th birthday in the year 2000. Build on flatland, the front nine is playing anti-clockwise. Hole 10 and 11 are playing clockwise, while the remaining holes on the back nine again run anti-clockwise. The course features strategically placed bunkers predominantly on the front nine, while the back nine is highlighted with ponds and towering trees, demanding players to place their shots with precision. Tree-lined fairways are another feature of this park-type course. Arcamanik, comparable with Halim I & II, has not really been upgraded to todays standards, making competition with the newer designed courses, in a bid to attract golfers, tough. Located some 20 kilometers out of Bandung's city center, there are two ways of getting to the Arcamanik. One; via the so called old road, which takes you through the suburbs of Bandung in the direction of Jatinangor. Two; the fastest way, via the toll road around Bandung, where you have to take the Sukamiskin exit.
